About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Death Doula with a background shaped by living around the world as a military brat and by working in community organizing in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Netherlands. Knowing people across cultures, identities, and belief systems is how I fell in love with people—and ultimately with this work.

I prioritize full-body awareness in my sessions and look for clients who are open to challenging the limits of talk therapy. My sessions include somatic practices, guided meditations, movement, and reading poetry. Therapy is a place where stories are welcomed at your pace, where curiosity matters, and where your lived experience is the expert.

I am honored to share space with clients authentically. I look forward to chatting with you to see if I am a good match for your needs.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Quick answer: Nope. Spiritual or symbolic language is optional and always client‑led. I’ve found that everyone has a favorite rock and is inspired by poetry and both of these are in line with my view of spirituality.

  • That’s what the consultation is for! I tell folx I never let anyone commit in the consult, waiting 48 hours at least is important. Additionally, I like to think of the first few months as a trial period to see whether my clinical style aligns with your needs. I know how challenging it can be to find the right therapist, and forcing intimacy is NOT the move.

Additionally, I offer short-term support for folx who have targeted goals or who are unavailable for the longer-term weekly therapy commitment.

  • I have options for folx. I offer superbills for insurance reimbursement as well as a tier-pricing model. After an initial conversation, we’ll discuss what makes sense for your budget and scheduling needs.
I do not ask for documetnation of finacial status as I belive there is no way to screenshot someone’s financial reality. Instead, I encourage folx to use the Green Bottle method to guide you and then you inform me what rate makes sense for your budget.

I deeply believe that through collaboration, we can challenge the systems around late-stage capitalism, or what I jokingly refer to as White Boy Monopoly.
